一來我覺得美國好大程度係自己拿屎上身,出入境同活動非常麻煩
二來我去過既地方,尤其係 Newark, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Savannah, Jersey City, New York City 同 Washington DC 既基建都 decay 都非常厲害(由最差去到比較好)
而家紐約政府已經夠窮,就算有錢,都係維修多過起新線

Apart from money, the bigger issue is Tea Party fiscal conservatism at work.
There is a bunch of politicians who want to reduce the size of the government and think that the government should not intrude into our lives. They think that the government should simply cut spending and eliminate social programs, no matter how 'necessary' they are (many even argue that Medicare and SS should be privatized) They have been able to draw support from many voters (predominantly blue-collar white male) and gained significant traction in the 2010 midterm elections - look at how many Democratic congressmen they have unseated!
