I took the CX252 last Sunday(the day of incident happened in Hertfordshire) and the flight was 1hr delayed on departure. The E.A.T to HKG was 0826 but finally we landed at 0755 (20 mins behind), the max speed of B-HKE (ex- SQ 747-412) I noticed was 1076km/h and most of the time we were on 875km/h.
The B747-412 I was on (B-HKE) was not comfaortable as CX's B747-467s. The seats are narrower than original CX's 744 and the media control system is like those on Airbus, wired control and located on side instead of arm rest.
not a good journey although this is my 1st time on B HKE, but otherwise I was next to the engine and the PW seems as quiet as RR.
CX's B742 was stopped at Bahrain for refuel, it wasnt a direct flight in my memory
