Centra London, operating routes 152,200 201 and the 493 is to close down by the end of May.
Route 152 was lost in tender to Travel London, and the start date of the contract was brought forwards from September to 22 April.
Travel London ordered 12-13 single deck buses for the route, but those are not due till September.
To cover the requirement of 11-12 buses, travel London hired 7 darts from Stagecoach, used 4 darts from route H50[which was double decked] and transfered another dart from other operation in Surrey.
but the 'star' is the daily use of a trident double deck- something that did not occur with previous opeator - from end to end.
