AY wil continue to operate their whole MD-11 fleet untill their A350 arrive...
This ex-VS A343 will join by the newly ordered A343 just to expend their operation as there is a shortage of MD-11... And since they have ordered A343/A350... It would be a good option for them to buy ex-VS A343 which can join their new A340/A350 and stay in AY fleet for many more years... Unlike MD-11, if they get more now, they will be replaced in around 5yrs time...

Yes... If things goes as AY orginal plan... At least MD-11 will be flying along with A340 untill 2012 when A350 begin to replace MD-11... |
