獅城兩軸熱狗餘暉 － 我的文禮追熱之旅

還記得2012年5月8日，一個對大部份人來說是平平無奇的日子，卻是香港巴士迷一個難忘的經歷－服務香港接近一世紀的非空調巴士全數光榮退役！那天，小弟從行走93K線的丹尼士熱狗(GA6107)下車，心情既卻又沉重，愉快的是香港即將進入全冷的新時代，沉重的是小弟仍未能接受到熱狗要和我們告別的事實。

Many people might think that 8/5/2012 was just a normal day to them, but to a bus enthusiastic, it was an unforgettable experience. It was a day which the non-air conditionered buses had to be retired! On that day, when I was alighting from a Dennis 'hotdog' bus (GA6107), I had a mixed feeling of delightful and sadness. I was happy due to the fact that Hong Kong's buses would start to be all air-conditioned. I was sad because I still could not face the reality that we had to farewell with 'hotdog' buses which had served Hong Kong for almost a century.

接下來的半年都是在冷氣巴士上渡過的，直到有一天無意中發現，重燃了我的希望...
After the retirement of non-air conditionered bus in Hong Kong, I spent all time used in transportation on buses with air-conditioner, until one day, my hope relights...  (<<please give some suggestions to me as my English skills are bad, thanks)


我發現了此論壇的B16板 (請恕小弟過往的無知)。我發現了新加坡的熱狗還未退役！
I discovered that there is B16 page on hkitalk!!  (Please forgive my ignorance)  I found out that the 'hotdogs' in Singapore have still not retired yet.


自此，小弟決定到獅城一遊，與久違的非空調巴士重聚。
Since then, I decided to go to Singapore, in order to see the 'hotdog' buses again.


時光飛逝，期待已久的日子來了。當天，小弟乘搭特快線502由酒店前往文禮，一輛富豪B9TL為小弟的文禮追熱之旅揭開序幕。
Time flies, the important day finally came. On that day, I took SBS Express Route 502 from my hotel to Boon Lay by a Volvo B9TL.


在文禮巴士總站，我四處遊蕩，突然一輛熱狗駛到257號排隊位前，我毫不猶豫地登上它，再次登上熱狗，如願以償。當天亦是小弟的生日，熱狗亦成為我的生日禮物 (SBS7245R @ 257)
In Boon Lay Bus Interchange, I walked around. Suddenly, a 'hotdog' bus operating at route 257 stopped at the queuing place in front. I did not hesitate and got onto the bus. My dream came true. By the way, that day was also my birthday, which means it was a great birthday present for me. (SBS7245R @ 257)

陣陣強風，我重拾昔日乘坐73A熱狗飛馳道路上的感覺。
It was so windy that the exact feeling was like taking 73A hotdog operating on some wide roads.


追熱狗之旅過後，小弟前往Jurong Point吃飯。飯後再到天橋影車，竟然巧遇自己乘搭到的那輛熱狗，更成功拍攝到它。這總算是一個全記錄。謝謝！
After taking hotdog, I went to Jurong Point to have lunch. When I walked back to the bridge to take photos of the buses getting into Boon Lay Bus Interchange after lunch, I luckily saw the bus which I have taken before lunch! I sucessfully took a photo of it. This was a full record of what I have taken -- as I had both the interior and exterior photos of the hotdog bus. Thanks a lot!!
