As, A340 is very similar to A330... It is more likely that QR will order A340 to as it helps to reduce cockpit crew training and increase flexibility too...
Also, QR is a very big Airbus fan with a big fleet of Airbus and only 5 B777 on order compare to a number of A346/A380 and also 60 A350 still awaiting for confirm...
