[西雅圖] Community Transit新車速遞︰New Flyer XD40

由上星期開始
Community Transit嘅24部New Flyer  Xcelsior陸續投入服務
首先投入服務嘅係為數九部嘅Diesel版本XD40
餘下嘅Hybrid版本則為XDE40
側聞今次買兩個版本嘅原因係想試驗吓行LOCAL線用柴油好定用Hybrid好
相信今次試驗結果會影響未來CT買車嘅取向
但肯定嘅係跑公路嘅線仍然會係用柴油為主
呢個做法同King County Metro同Sound Transit完全相反
或者係KCM同ST嘅公路線部份係隧道線
所以先焗買Hybrid車

另外CT亦係New Flyer Xcelsior嘅首批用家

Seattle Board-mates, I have a question to ask that I will have a very short trip to Seattle in late September that I might only have one weekday afternoon to do the bus fanning, I need some help to get most (if not all) community transit buses (i.e. pic of E500, DE60LFA, XD40 and D40i) Thanks in advance for you help.

You can take a bus to Lynnwood Transit Center. (If you want to ride on E500, I recommend you take the 401 2:36pm trip from Downtown Seattle to Lynnwood). You will get most of the buses that you want in there, like E500, XD/XDE40, D40i etc, except DE60LFA.
If you want to catch DE60LFAs, take a ride on the 118 to Aurora Village which is the south terminal of Swift.

如果我冇記錯的話 Community Transit 好似除左 E500 之外, 全部車隊都係 New Flyer 出品 ~
不過 New Flyer 都有舊版新版 o既 ~

唔知道D60HF退晒未

唔該晒，因為時間唔多，我諗我會租車去影。唔知Lynnwood TC 影車同Aurora Village有無乜要留意？另外我諗緊好唔好由SEA經一經Bellevue 影影Sound Transit 先去Lynnwood定經西雅圖去。再先行謝過。真係諗唔到無去幾年，西雅圖既巴士面目完全唔同左。

一張上次去西雅圖影既舊相。

基本上冇乜特別要留意嘅
不過就最好喺站外範圍影
有時遇著啲司機介意人地影相，你企喺站外佢地都冇你乎

雖然西雅圖過一過橋去Bellevue都只係十分鐘
不過繁忙時間由Bellevue經I-405北上Lynnwood可能遇著塞車
咁就可能晒咗啲時間
