[SYD] Custom Coaches CB80 buses..

2009年, Custom Coaches 推出了新的CB80系列車身,
今年開始有貨交...

首先兩三個月前投入服務嘅有Hopkinsons Volvo B12BLE..



跟住上個禮拜落地嘅Blue Mountain Bus Company 嘅Scania K270UB.



遲下會有Red Bus Company (Terrigal) 嘅Iveco,
和Melbourne NationalBus (運豬乸) MAN
呢度有得睇

Will STA going to acquire this type of body into their fleet or only limited to private bus companies

I think there will be a fleet of 200 B7RLE with CB80 and Voith gearbox coming after the Volgren Bendi, Volgren will have a short holiday

Those B7RLE buses are replacing the retiring Mercedes-Benz 0405 rite?

I still prefer Volgren. They have a much more versatile design compare to Custom Coaches.

I will say this CB80 body is quite an amazing design, in my point of view, as it can fix onto any chasises, from MAN to Volvo to IVECO to Scannia!

So can Volgren fit to other chassis, even earlier than CC. In fact, Volgren bodies are generally lighter than CC, because they are alluminium. CB80 is still a stainless steel body.

CB80 design is still based on Citaro, and some other buses in China

Volgren CR series can fit onto chassis from Dennis Dart SLF to 18m N310UA bendi buses
not to mention about their double deck range buses for Hong Kong and Singapore
