According to the info from CX,
HKG<->MAN(via SVO) is operating by 34D (2 classes)...
is it mean that they are not expecting there will be any 1st class customers???

Consider if you fly CX from HKG-MAN via LHR on the first class, you still have to take the economy class on the BA connection flight as the LHR-MAN are in one class seating.
