Well, Toyota actually suspended the sales of 8 models, including corollas and camrys. I have a lot of clients driving new model corollas and camrys, and they are scared like hell. Since these are popular cars among Chinese here in WA state, and a lot of them lack the language skills to communicate with the dealer's rep (We have quite a few Toyota dealers, but there aren't much Chinese speaking staff...), they don't know what to do now. Few of my clients with multiple Toyotas decided to take the bus/ walk until the matter get resolve.
BTW, recently Toyota's quality did go downhill a bit. my relative's Toyota Tundra went to the shop a few times already since September when he bought the truck.
