From Monday 14th though, Routemasters will be reinstanted
on the 9 (only between Aldwych and Royal Albert Hall) and the
15 (Trafalgar Square - Tower Hill(?)), using TfL-owned examples
that were refurblished by Marshall in 2002.
on 8 dec, there is an enthusiasts day on route 159, so this is the day when all the 'special guests' would be working. details to be posted on www.lots.org.uk on 28 nov 2005.
the last routemasters on the 159 will run on Friday 9 dec 2005, and will be replaced gradually during the day, so by 1500 all the service would be running with VLAs.
"The enthusiasts' day with guest vehicles will be Thursday 8 December, with the changover to Arriva London one person operated VLA-class Volvo B7TLs taking place between 11.00 and 13.00. THe final scheduled journey leaves Marble Arch at noon, preceded a few minutes earlier by duplicates. "
But in the LOTS website, it said that the last day is 9th Dec, which one is correct?
(I don't want to catch the 6:00am train and arrive to there at 8 :p)
