Too much hilly routes, therefore it's not possible, otherwise, they will buy the Gillig Advantage years back instead of the Phanton, and D60..the D40LF DE60LF, and D 60 LF are either for flat route ...
But the low floor bus sometimes hit the bottom part of the front bumper when come down from hills like Cherry streets, Also, Metro is really relunctant to buy low floor, they were pressured by the Fed to get some, therefore they bought the NFI's, METRO is one of the last transit system in WA to acquire Low Floor.

Haha, but one thing I dun get is that the Transit Union doesn't want to get the low floor either, they said the siting position is too high, but the floor is low, they might slip when the get out of the driver pit wor.
BTW: First Community's new New Flyer Invero and D60LF are parked at the Sodo base at Seattle (King County!!!) They are not in revenue service yet. I heard that they are destin to replaced the first gen D40LF that was dated back from 1992. and the D60LF are destin to replace the Neoplan
