其實呢級樓梯咁矮，咁傷殘人士可唔可以就咁用力推自
己部輪椅上呢級樓梯架？

不過講真，與其係度裝升降台，咁倒不如起條斜台咪仲
好。一來唔使0徙電，二來等得0黎你已經上完呢級樓梯
好耐 Lu~

No. This is totally not acceptable for the current standard of barrier free access.

According to Design Manual Barrier Free Access 1997 / Building (Planning) Regulations s.72, a ramp should be installed to a level difference like this. (Do we still call the machine above stair lift?) For alteration and addition reasons, the bank (the part involved in the works) has to comply with current regulations. It seems that the area in front of the unit does not belong to the unit. And If we build a ramp there with an assumption of 150mm level difference, it will take up around 1.5m x 4.8m=7.2m2. The current space in front of the door is around 1.5m x 2.5m = 3.75m2 Shops like this will pay rent for around $500/m2/month. the additional space will account for $1725 per month without generating any revenue. Say, this device cost $50000, the initial cost can be recovered within 2.5 years.

This is not a good method, but still acceptable.

還有，任何場地負責人不安裝斜台或其他輪椅人士適用設施，是會視作歧視
殘疾人士，觸犯平機會的〔殘疾歧視條例〕，傷殘人士有權向平機會投訴及
採取法律行動民事控告場地負責人。

同意,如果加設金屬板斜台,既方便輪椅人士使用,也可免卻繁複工序.

咁點解唔削左果級的一部份，然後整永久斜台？

所以要方便殘疾人士,
有時都要面對不少官僚繁複問題,
