Cannot help it... Since BA changed its CEO... The new CEO just love cutting things and all he cares is to maximise profit...
Before they cut the benefit and condition for many of their staff... And they only stopped as the crew threaten then that they will go on strike...
And now finally it comes to passengers turn... BA services is not pretically well already... And now reducing baggage allowance will just give more passenger to its competitor...
For London-Hong Kong for instance, we have CX/VS who will happily let you check in more than 1 baggage and to have 32kg maximum... Compare to BA 23kg maximum and 1 baggage only...
This really will bring BA a pretty good profit or revenue in the short-term... But god knows what is going to happen in long-term when passenger know that they can get a VS ticket for same price but to have 25~32kg of baggage allowance and no limitation on how many check-in item... I am sure many will be happy to shift to BA competitors...
