Only once did Tridents with Company livery [and not the normal 'London red'] did work in London, and that was for a week during late March 2004, where all the citaros in London were taken out of service for modification.
Stagecoach in London borrowed 4-5 Tridents from Chesterfield for operation on route 453.
here is one seen in Whitehall on route 453.
Megabus operation see, from time to time, double decks and single decks borrowed from the normal day to day bus operation of Stagecoach around the country. It used to be the case in London too, when it was part of the Stagecoach group- but no more.
Photographing those loans was, and still is," boring", because the buses in question do not carry blind to say on what service they operate- just Stagecoach/ Private. so by looking at the photo, you can not tell what the bus is doing.

Here is another case which Magabus borrowed double decks from the normal bus operation displayed 'Private' blind.
Both Selkent and East London buses no longer owned/ part of Stagecoach bus since 23 Jun 2006.
Furthermore, East London just announced to close their East London Coaches
Following a review of the East London Coaches business it has regrettably been decided to close the operation in the near future. We will not be producing a new excursion programme after 31st March 2007 and our private hire business will close.
