i still can't figure out where the lower deck emergency exit door is, or does E400 not have one?
It is said that the new batch of E400 on order for route 486 in Lonodn have been specified WITH an emergency exit. it remains to be seen.
I have posted before a photo of an E400 with stagecoach in Newcastle, which has an emergency door.
