Would you mind me spread it to other forum?
I'm really excited to see the KMB's new Scania double-decker come true!
Moreover, the SHOWBUS site has already updated its latest news as below.
SHOWBUS LATEST: New Scania/Salvador Caetano Double Deck for KMB Hong Kong coming to SHOWBUS
I checked with this year SHOWBUS entry but found nothing from either KMB or something from Scania/ Salvador Caetano, so I guess they haven't put their entry yet.
過o左咁多日終於搵倒架新車o既 entry:
After a few days, the new Scania bus finally appeared on the entry list:
Rally No.:699
Entered by:Kowloon Motor Bus
Registration:unknown
Date:2005
Chassis:Scania
Type:KUD6x2
Body:Caetano H80D
Operator/Livery:KMB
Fleet No:TBC (Note: To Be Confirmed)
唔知大家知唔知 KUD6x2 係咪一隻新底盤?
Do anyone know if KUD6x2 is a new chassis or not?

同埋將 H80D (ShowBus 車身代號) 作分析,這架巴士應該有 80 個座位。
After analyzing the H80D (ShowBus Body Code), it should be a 80 seat decker.
如果屬實,她的總坐位數量將與現有 ATE / AVW / AVBW / AVBE / APM 等直梯巴士一樣(上 53 下 27,合共 80 個座位)。
If it's true, it will have the same total amount of seat as those straight-staircase buses in KMB like ATE / AVW / AVBW / AVBE / APM (Upper 53 / Lower 27, altogether 80 seats).

i bet it resembles citybus' 2800
if it's using the K chassis (with longitudinal engines),
rather than being similar to the Omnicity/dekkas with N chassis...
(unless it got some parts modified to lower the rear floor level to be comparable to the tridents...)
