ai...this is HK education lor, when I was in F1-2, my mom is actually the member of the Board of Director of my school (famous english school in Wanchai...) and guess what, a new teacher said that my glasses and shoes are not complying with the rule, and she called my mom...guess what, she resigned 2 months later...reason...my mom donate over 1/2 a million at that year and the principle don't want to make her unhappy....and then I continue to do what I want...until I moved to US. In some school in HK, if your family have $$$, u have power
I thought once u are out of school then you are subject to the law, not school rule...if this is the case, then I think you should expose this to Education Dept. and the media and make the school changed....
btw, from f1-f2, i took a cab to school too, (and yes, our school also have rule saying not to take "expensive" transportation...but because the school and the catholic church wants my family's contribution...they never care...
