Apparently, I visited NFI's plant in Winnipeg with my friends, this plant is specially for bodyshell only, the machanic works are made in Crookston, Minnesota (Except Invero)~~
haha, except orders from Seattle, cause those Sound Transit/ Metro King County D60 were actually assembly in house at Atlantic Base, they were shipped as body shell only, then chassis are shipped in parts, this is a standard practice of METRO, just don't know why they do that, but they have been doing that since AM General Trolley (some of them are in house, then the entire Duo Bus are inhouse, and some Gilling 35, 40, and Trolley are assembly in house)

乜King County批New Flyer係Seattle做咩﹖﹖但係我地有人見過一架開始付運到
King County Metro既New Flyer係Edmonton出現禍~~
Well, not all of them are seattle, usually in King County order, 1/2 is build onsite while half are shipped, for Gillig Trolley, they are all assembly in Calif without running gear, then send to Seattle to finish up, D 40LF is CBU, while some D 60LF and a few DE 60LF are shipped with body and running gear separate, D60HF are shipped with body and running gear separate. Also, the first DE60LF 2599, is built in NFI, but heavily modified by METRO, such as the whole Hybrid drive system and installation of new engine.
btw, this is why the trolley version of the Gillig have MAN rear axis too, cause Metro sources for parts themselves, as Gillig never really made a ETB before the thing is design by King COunty Metro and tender out parts.

勁禍﹐如果Vancouver Translink同King County Metro一樣做法就可以節省唔少成本~~

I think most of them are Arvin Meritor, But I've seen one/ two with Man axis. btw, NFI's buses are with rear Max axis too.
Which one have MAN axles?? I may try to mention it next time when I visit Seattle~~
