ICAO(國際民航組織)既飛機編碼中, 將飛機型號縮短為三位數字no.來代表 (e.g. 773, 744, 343, etc.)

34C = 3 class 343﹐係CX既15架343機隊之中只有五架﹐編號係HXI﹐HXL﹐HXM﹐HXN & HXO﹐現時主要行走LHR﹐SYD & CGK~~

另外個10架就係34D﹐即係2 class 343~~

Is it because PW offer cheaper engine and more fuel saving feature than RR? Can anyone advise?

Actually nope, becoz' 744ERF don't have RR engine available, just only GE and PW 2 choices, and CX have 3 ex- SQ 744 with PW engines, therefore they ordered 744ERF with PW engine~~
