Is it because HK consumers rarly use electronic service, in US, where alot of banks don;t process check on satuday, people get use to it, also, In us, most of the time, if you bring a check in to a bank, and if you are customer, they give your cash right away....and if the check bounce, it's not the person's casing it fault, but rather, the person who wrote the check will have to pay a fine... Also...I rarly use teller service, I usually use ATM, and online banking to do transfer and stuff...
