I think they may re-route some of their less profitable long-haul flight to fly via PVK/PEK...
I believe adding new destinations in the near further apart from PVG is not likely... Mainly because of transit pax from CX current network to many of those destination are not strong... So just leave those routes to KA first and maybe get into them when the demand of transit to those routes increase...
