Well that's why most people like choose SWA or Jetblue or even Greyhound instead, almost same price for most
of time while it is at least relatively on time.

Btw, the only Amtrak (not Amtrak CA) trip I made is LA-Seattle via Coast Starlight in two years ago.
I was so fortunate to bought it thru railsale at USD$47.40, and nobody at the train can beat my price.
