A number of M-Train need to undergo asset life extension to ensure adequate serviceable train under asset replacement by new trains.
2. Scope of Works
MTR Corporation Limited invites potential contractors to express their interest to provide the NDT and weld improvement service for M-Train.
The works shall comprise welding procedure qualification tests, fabrication of weld reference test blocks, NDT and weld improvement of M-train carbody and bogie, supply of equipment and personal protective equipment, cleaning during contract period, and defects rectification of the implementation work during the Defect Liability Period.
