如果驚塞車, 又冇乜行季, 你可以由起新山過關後,經 Causeway 行落新加坡, 行大約十五分鐘。
(Causeway 係可以行人, 只係要小心D車, 好多人塞車時會咁做, 小弟都試過。)

It is the bad immigration of the two sides. The buses and the traffic were not having problem, but it still took me 4 hours (Saturday afternoon-Peak hour).

That is for:
Singapore- Everyone without the chip card for the machine
Malaysia- All foreigners (including Singaporeans)

Try off peak periods and the speed can be quite fast.

If not there are cross-border taxis (shared by 4 passengers) at Kota Raya terminal which can avoid the immigration problem (around S$10 per person)
