here is a photo of the UK built 'evolution' bodywork, on a denis dart 10.7m long chasis.
note how similar the body is the the one used for the latest darts batch from Macau [D25 onwards]- on a body which is 10.1 m long.
The body designs seems to have been taken from the now defunct Marshall [which was based on the Carlyle such as Citybus 14xx & AA1/2]; the rights to this design was bought by MCV.

Does anybody know the front of new macau dart is really made by MCV or by Soon Chow? If it is made by Soon Chow, has it really bought the design of MCV or it is just a copycat like most of the body builder in China?
I dun think the front is really made by MCV becoz it is seldom to use a front by the body builder other than that of the rest of whole body, except the case of renewal or those already attached in new chassis.
I heard that Soon chow body bought the design of the MCV, however, the soonchou body L94 double decker are copycats of Alexander (however the front of the opentop coach are manufacture by Comfort Delgro just across the street (apparently, those are manufacture as spare parts for the old Leyland Olympians)
