兩者只係差三幾分鐘，睇彩數同出發時間。
差別係經尖東/尖沙咀及金鐘，荃灣線班次較密，但金鐘繁時如果企唔0岩位，未必迫得上第一班車。
經南昌及中環/香港，東涌線整體班次較疏。但即使係繁時，南昌及中環都幾乎肯定上到第一班車。
個人傾向經南昌及中環/香港。

Let us see the control experiment:
From: Nam Cheong
To : Chai Wan (East Bay, HK Island)
MTR states that you should take Tung Chung and Island Lines. The total time you need is about 41 minutes.
Source: MTR webpage
However, if you choose West Rail, Tsuen Wan, and Island Lines to finish your trip, you need similar time to finish the same trip. Therefore, both methods are similar.
Return to the topic, if you take West Rail Line from Kam Sheung Road Station, you may transfer in Nam Cheong Station, or East Tsim Sha Tsui Station. The time is similar. 
However, the fare may be different if you Octopus Card.
via Nam Cheong Station: $24.10;
via ETST Station : $21.60.
So, you may choose the cheaper way if it is valid.  |
