[問] 馬耳他 Malta 巴士現況同德國Frankfurt巴士

Sliema is much cheaper.  A lot of HK backpackers stay there.  a 3-star hotel was only around 35EURO per night.  Great deal!

Arriva buses should not open doors. Drivers will be disciplined if they do so.

我宜家決定二三月淨玩Malta 8天, 所以可能會訂Emirates經Dubai 轉機, 可能坐下A380

8天中會一日坐Malta Sighseeing/City Sightseeing 開頂巴士/Hertiage bus的Leyland Titan, 另一日會坐ferry/water plane 到GOZO島Day tour (坐Gozo Malta Sighseeing開頂巴士), 另一日去Comino Island, 希望有多一天可能day trip take express ferry 去意大利西西里;

少少OT: 師兄仲有D問題想請教你, 因為冇咩人去過, 唔好意思~

你上次去兩個星期, 景點係咪都夠時間玩? 影巴士我唸你影一兩日?~ 有沒有去埋其他地方如西西里?

最大問題好似係打手提電話同上網問題... 我上網看過果度有Vodafone, 但pre-paid sim 一係就是比人TOP-UP(本身要有一張sim), 一係就連電話一齊買.>< 想問下~如果我想在當地打電話返HK或打當地, 在哪裡可買一張儲值sim card?
There should be stalls and shops selling sim cards.

仲有如果我想上網, 那裡一般酒店用WIIFI/網線收不收費?

我果時都係住SLIEMA,去VALLETTA 交通十分方便,車程15分鐘到,我果時就住係SLIEMA既NSTS HOSTEL,€13/PER DAY BREAKFAST INCLUDED. HOTEL就無留意,因為對我呢D年青人就D貴,附近St. Julian's 都可以考慮,遠SLIEMA 5分鐘到
我間HOSTEL就無WIFI,不過有D公園,同埋M記都會有WIFI用,其實我就唔理,邊度搵到免費WIFI就用
我覺得MALTA影巴士都好方便,因為VALLETTA係馬爾他巴士既HUB,我果時差唔多日日都會經過VALLETTA,你只要每日經過用翻少少時間影下,就已經好夠,唔駛突登抽一日出黎
我去兩星期,我認為時間已經有D多,我都玩得好HEA. 8日應該岩岩好
我果時係果度淨係SD SMS返HK,打電話返既好似好貴

最後,比一個幾好既WEBSITE你,我認為大部份既景點佢都有講,果個環MALTA島遊係唔錯,除左比較貴

我想問下現在除Gozo島的巴士可能舊D外, 有什麼地方可影到或坐到以前黃色果D古老巴士車款? 據知, 不少司機會保留舊巴士, 會唔會有一D地方留泊著舊巴士. 我知我來馬爾他這個巴士天堂遲左, 但總想見下呢D舊巴士. 仲有, 希望見到全世界除嶼巴外得馬爾他有的手波Dart, 不知已否退役或過檔Arriva....

此外, Malta Sightseeing 有一條Heritage Route 是用舊英國二手巴士, 雖不是用馬爾他以前黃色巴士classic的車款, 一日得幾班而且, 行經的地點也比較少, 好難以hop-on-hop-off形式到一個景點後落車, 再等另一架巴士再搭. 網頁上有唔同的舊巴士, 但看其班次我估計佢每日只出一輛, 所以感到不值得淨坐而不hop-on hop-off遊覽. 所以唔知有沒有辦法去車廠外影下相..... 如有板友知道點去, 希望可以告訴我, 謝謝!

再者, 其實去Malta有少少係為巴士, 希望看下有沒有店舖賣下D 當地巴士模型或退役巴士的Badge及零件作紀念品留念.

An AEC Reliance, a Ford ET7 and a Bedford YRQ are "preserved route buses". Try your luck. Other preserved buses (about 90) are parked in a shipyard in Marsa (should not open to public as it is Arriva's temporary depot). Heritage Malta will build a bus museum and accommodate the buses. Badges of most of these buses were retained by their former owners, but luckily most of them were sent to the organisation and re-installed as the owners realised that their buses are not scrapped.

Well, the old buses are usually around. As the ordinary routes also have Fleetline, Routemaster... View my related photos.

Numerous shops sell old bus models made in China. Price varies a lot. Stroll around shops before you make decision.

3 classic buses being refurbished: 537, 636, 661 and are not seen these days.

3 ex-Gozo buses (2 in grey and 1 in orange) make tours round Valletta from the cruise liner terminal, best place to take photos of them is near Castille.
