as usual, there were many guest vehicles to commemorate the end of crew operation on route 13.
Not all vehicles operated all day long, and here is the list:
Blue Triangle sent RT3871 and RTW75
Ensign sent RLH61 and RT4421
First sent RM613 and RML2735
Stagecoach sent RML2665
Metroline sent RML903
London Central sent RM9
and London United sent ERM880 [or RML880]
Cobham sent STL2377, which did not run on public service- only invited guests.
All of those buses appeared before on special last days, and many of them will also appear on Friday 28 Oct on route 38 and 8th Dec on route 159.
I have chosen 3 photos to illustrate the specials:
RML903 at Lords; the bus was repainted, and actually used to work on route 13 about 15 years ago.
I did mention it to Phil S- the driver, and they did forget to change the 390 number- last used on 1/9/2004 when the bus did work on the last day of route 390.
The bus was painted over, but the job is not complete yet, as fleet logos should be applied.
