SBS訂購500台Scania

Probably SBS want Scania becasue the EGR approach adopted
by Scania need not to use Adblue.

Comfort Delgro should get a very good deal from Scania, they not just order 500 Scania for SBS, they also have order 200 Scania for Hillsbus and Westbus in Sydney, all with Volgren CR228L body

我諗SBS Transit今次咁大手筆幫襯Scania其中一個原因係其集團響澳洲的West Bus同Hills Bus都已經有唔少同款車，試過覺得好，加上環保設備所以先再幫襯。

講開又講，剛剛過去的週末我坐的火車線trackwork，今次竟然有West Bus派車！當前一班車坐滿，West Bus職員立刻出動一架超新的Scania spare bus (9546) 黎車果十個客。我都係第一次坐West Bus，就坐架咁新的！

唔知有冇一日會見到Scania雙層巴士響新加坡度試呢?

I have driven Hillsbus Scania K94UB and L94UB, they are not that great in terms of power, even approaching a small slope they can get very sluggish.

To ensure those buses are covered under warranty by Scania, drivers from ComfortDelgro Cabcharge (aka CDC) are instructed not to use kickdown and always keep the bus running in the green zone, and if any drivers get find out that they use kickdown constantly from the bus computer, they will get into trouble.

I think the benefit of getting them is, they are significantly cheaper compare to a Volvo/Merc, both maintenance and operational wise.
