The Three Express Trains Museum was completed in early 2024 alongside the high-speed train tracks with a few historic rail carriages on display as well as an indoor exhibition area. It's nowhere as structured and amazing as the train museum in Beijing but there are a few interesting vehicles that are worth a short stop.
The 3 trains refer to 751, 753, and 755, which were used to ship fresh food to Hong Kong via Shenzhen since 1962. At its peak, some 5000 livestock and tens of thousands of chickens passed by this area daily. Service ended in 2010 as other forms of transportation became more accessible.
