我真係好懷疑 7 月 8 日夠唔夠時間裝配成架 787 , 更加期待睇下佢 1st fight 隻翼會唔會「斷」 ... hehe

聽聞而家生產787的部件公司均能夠準時交付787部件比波音裝配。
據現時首架787的工程進度來推斷，787應該可以在7/8準時面世
而早幾個月前我亦去過波音廠參觀，787生產線已經整緊，
據了解，波音787生產線只需三日就可完成一架787裝配。

不過有樣野好得意，787的引擎可以互換，
即係航空公司可以隨時更換787的引擎 (GE換RR, RR換GE)。
咁唔知一架787飛機可唔可以同時用一個GEnx和一個RR Trent1000引擎來飛行呢？

知唔知 1st test flight 會係幾時同幾時 delivery 去 launch airline ??

They are doing final assembly now for the first flight, but it will take like 2 months, cause it's the first plane, but the second or latter order will take only about a week...also, i know one of the project manager of the 787, and he said there are security camera and sensor everywhere so on one can take pic or walk near the plane, he said, if anyone bring another body not related to the program or not invited guest....then those employee will be immediately fire and get sue....

btw, the wings did snap once...and in 1 hr they have got a new wings to replace...

It would be interesting to see how the new wings of the 787 would pass the FAA special request on the burning test, which is still to be done
