LDN Goodbye RML2665

Today, East London bid good bye to RML2665, which was sold to Ensign bus for private hire work at Bath.

This was the very last standard RML in service in London. In 1992, all remaining RML in service were refurbished and had an engine replacement.
This bus was the very last in such a state.
RML2760 was never refurbish, and remained 'as origional' in 1968, while RML2735 was partially refurbished by First.

the bus run as far as Blackwall station, where the nornal [Trident operated] service terminates, and a special blind was produced.

Here is RT1431 [from March 1953] in service on route 15

and... the day started with another special working: RML2665 worked a short section on route 25. here it is seen arriving at Aldgate. Route 25 is normally operated by articulated buses.
