[Tempe] London Bus Day

Routemaster Celebration - Sat 24 June 2006

On Sunday 25 July 2004the Sydney Bus Museum held a Special Day at the Museum at Tempe to celebrate the London Routemaster's 50th Anniversary.

The Museum's two London Double Decker Routemasters RM 1708 and 3708 operated on the day providing rides for visitors on the usual Sunday circuit. Another visitor was Blue Mountains Explorer M 450, a Metro Cammell Weymann (MCW) Metrobus from Foley Katoomba

A museum web-site is using a 2004 acticle to promote an event happen at 2006

Yeah, that article mentioned the Routemaster Celebration in 2004,
but the Sydney Bus Museum still using that outdated information to advertise for the London Transport Day on 24/6.

And 3708 is a AEC Regent III RT/2, it will be on the road again on LT day.

Oh... I understand it now... That was a recapture of the same event happened in 2004...

It is not describing what is going to happen the coming Saturday la...

Too bad I will miss out this event because I will be on a roadtrip between next Fri - Sun

Is going to be an intersting day,ex-Arriva London MCW Mk1 from Blue Mountain, as well as Bristol VR (maybe), RT, RM, RTL, ML1
