My name is Dave, I am a bus operator with Coast Mountain Bus (Translink) based out of the Richmond depot, and I've been fortunate enough to drive both ADL Enviro 500s currently undergoing testing in Vancouver at the moment. Thought I'd like to share some photos taken by myself while working with these buses on line 620, serving between Bridgeport Canada Line Station in Richmond and Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal via Ladner Exchange. Both buses are equipped with Cummins ISL with Allison 6-speed transmission. Bus 1008 has the more powerful engine with 380HP output capacity, while 1009 has a slightly smaller engine with 330HP. Anyhow, here we go!

Finally, some more photos of 1008 on line 555 Lougheed Stn <-> Carvolth Exchange / Port Mann Hwy 1 Express. Line 555 is based out of Port Coquitlam depot, so unfortunately I won't have the opportunity to drive it.

after 10 years the both side of bc ferry route (swartz bay- Tsawwassen) provide double decker.
Just curious to know do yo need special type of driving license (from ICBC) to drive trolley?
Yes, and the air brake course is conducted within the first week of training, with the actual knowledge written exam on day 5 of training. Upon passing of the said written exam, the air brake endorsement is added to your ICBC driver's license.
